In an article which was published on the Independent News Paper in the UK dated 16 March 2022, Adam Smith the tech writer explain how a fake Amazon website is being used by scammers to promote a fake Elon Musk-endorsed website named “Bitcoin Motion”. A quick check reveals that “Bitcoin Motion” was exposed here: https://csracademy.org.uk/bitcoin-motion-review-scam-app/ and branded as a “cloned website”
It’s not every day we see such brazen acts of deception carried out by con artists, but Bitcoin Motion is definitely one exception and for that reason it caught our attention.
This is done because every second-rate marketer knows that people listen to what celebrities have to say and actually believe them. Since Elon Musk is currently the world’s richest man, people will generally tend to believe his advise in relation to investing and generation of wealth.
Sure! The scammers are pushing new advertising campaigns and generating a lot of buzz. We have also seen a lot of native ads used in conjunction with this service. It’s always a smart idea to check before investing!
